How can I buy Ecoborder?

Ecoborder is sold online at www.theplasticpeople.co.uk and via garden centres nationwide.  We offer bulk discounts direct to trade customers. Our friendly sales team will be pleased to help - contact them on 0113 249 2222 or service@sustainableoptions.co.uk.

What maintenance is needed for Ecoborder ?
Very little.  No staining or painting is ever required.  Ecoborder is UV stable, frost resistant and will not rot.  The material Ecoborder is made from is virtually indestructible.

Is Ecoborder weather proof?
Yes, Ecoborder is UV stable so its colour will not fade.  It is also waterproof and frost proof.  Ecoborder also resists salt so works well in coastal regions regardless of the severity of the weather.

How long will Ecoborder last?
Many, many years - Ecoborder is virtually indestructible.   Ecoborder is made from crumb rubber so to  understand its longevity you can reference some of the other applications for crumb rubber; such as speed bumps, parking stops, rubber infilled synthetic turf fields, playground equipment, horse mats and handicapped ramps just to name a few.

What is Ecoborder made from ?
Ecoborder
is made from three components - crumb rubber (made from recycled products - making our products green and sustainable), an industrial glue and an exterior paint (which is mixed throughout the product).

Is Ecoborder really easy to install?
Yes, definitely. Most installations will not even need to cut the product at all until they get to the very end of the run (the part where they will usually bump into the house). At that point they can just make the cut with a handsaw or hacksaw (use a miter box for a more accurate cut). On average, a homeowner should be able to install about 50 feet in an hour.
